Looking for a TrueProfit alternative?

TrueProfit is an established Shopify profit tracker with a large user base — if you're reading this you probably already know it. The structural difference with RTDashboard isn't a feature checklist; it's the pricing model: TrueProfit meters every plan by monthly order count and charges for each order over the cap. RTDashboard's plans are flat — your bill doesn't grow with your order volume.

Pricing, side by side

TrueProfit's published plans (from their pricing page, checked July 11, 2026 — their page also notes there is no yearly plan):

Ultimate$100/mo1,500 orders$0.10/extra order

What the order cap means in practice

Take a store doing 2,000 orders a month. On TrueProfit's Ultimate plan that's $100 plus 500 extra orders × $0.10 = $150/month, and the bill keeps climbing as you grow. On RTDashboard Growth it's $79/month at 2,000 orders — and still $79 at 5,000. If your order volume is growing (that's the goal, presumably), a metered analytics bill is a tax on your own success.

What RTDashboard does

  • Per-SKU product costs with CSV bulk import — plus an explicit data-quality badge that tells you what share of revenue still uses estimated costs
  • Net-sales reconciliation: gross, discounts, refunds, tax, and shipping broken out to match Shopify Admin's own report definitions
  • Configurable payment-fee rate per store (defaults to Shopify Payments' standard 2.9% + $0.30)
  • Google & Meta ad spend synced against the same period, so profit is net of advertising
  • Revenue forecasting with the model's backtest error shown next to the forecast — no accuracy promises we can't demonstrate
  • UTM attribution, cohort retention, multi-currency rollups, and a multi-store portfolio view
  • White-label client reports, read-only share links, team seats, and a programmatic API on higher tiers

Where TrueProfit may fit you better

Honesty over conversion: TrueProfit has been on the App Store longer and has a much larger review base than we do. If you want the most battle-tested option and order-metered pricing works for your volume, it's a reasonable choice. If you'd rather see exactly what a profit dashboard does with real numbers before trusting either of us, our live demo is open — sample data, no signup.
